1. Sign in and choose a workspace

Sign in at /login. If you belong to one client organization, you are taken directly to that workspace. If you belong to more than one, choose the correct workspace before making changes.

You should only see organizations and tools assigned to your account. Contact an administrator if a workspace is missing.

2. Workspace navigation

Your workspace can include Analytics, Channels, Chat, Media, Playlists, Podcasts, Schedule, and VOD. Available functions depend on the role given to you by the platform administrator.

3. Upload media

  1. Open Media in your workspace.
  2. Select the file you want to upload.
  3. Wait for processing to finish before using the item in a playlist or VOD page.
  4. Check that the title and media type are correct.
  5. If a video poster/preview was generated, review it before publishing.

Large uploads may take time to process. Do not repeatedly upload the same file if the first job is still processing.

4. Create playlists and AutoDJ

  1. Open Playlists.
  2. Create a playlist with a clear name.
  3. Add processed audio tracks in the order you want.
  4. Save the playlist.
  5. Assign or schedule it for the correct radio channel.
  6. Check the public radio player to confirm audio is playing.

The platform supports crossfades between AutoDJ tracks. A live broadcaster can take over and AutoDJ resumes when the live source ends.

5. Schedule shows

  1. Open Schedule.
  2. Select the correct channel.
  3. Choose the show/date/time window.
  4. Assign the playlist or live-event plan.
  5. Double-check the timezone before saving.
  6. Review upcoming entries before the event starts.

6. Stream live with an encoder

Your administrator provides a secure RTMPS address, channel slug/name, and stream credential. Configure those values in compatible broadcasting software.

  1. Open your encoder and choose a custom RTMP/RTMPS service.
  2. Enter the RTMPS server address supplied by the administrator.
  3. Enter the channel-specific stream path/key exactly as supplied.
  4. Start with a short private/test broadcast.
  5. Confirm the channel shows LIVE and the public player starts.
  6. Stop the encoder and confirm the channel returns OFFLINE.
Never post your stream credential publicly. If it is exposed, ask the administrator to rotate it before the next broadcast.

7. Live radio/DJ takeover

When a live DJ source connects successfully, it can take over from AutoDJ. When the DJ disconnects, AutoDJ should resume automatically. Test audio levels and the transition before a scheduled show.

8. Live video

Video channels can deliver the source feed or adaptive renditions. Use stable upload bandwidth and an encoder bitrate appropriate for your connection. For a critical show, test from a second internet connection or mobile device before going live.

9. Podcasts

  1. Open Podcasts.
  2. Choose or create the series.
  3. Add the episode information and media.
  4. Set the intended access level.
  5. Publish and open the public podcast page to confirm it plays.

10. VOD

  1. Open VOD.
  2. Create the on-demand item from processed media.
  3. Add title/description and access settings.
  4. Publish the item.
  5. Test the public watch page while signed out if the content is intended to be public.

11. FREE, PREMIUM, and PRIVATE content

  • FREE: viewers can access the item without a paid entitlement, subject to the site's viewer rules.
  • PREMIUM: the viewer needs a qualifying purchase/subscription entitlement.
  • PRIVATE: access is restricted according to the platform's private-access rules.

Payment buttons become useful when the administrator has configured Stripe and/or PayPal.

12. Live chat

Use Chat for live audience interaction when enabled. Messages are associated with signed-in users where applicable. Follow the channel's moderation rules and contact an administrator if abusive content needs higher-level action.

13. Analytics

Analytics provides audience activity within the scope of your assigned organization. Use it to understand viewing/listening patterns and to compare event performance. It is not a replacement for external accounting or payment reports.

14. Viewer account

Viewer-only users are directed to /account. From there they can use available viewer features and access content they are entitled to view.

15. Before every important broadcast

  • Test the encoder and stream credential.
  • Confirm the correct channel.
  • Check audio levels and video framing.
  • Verify the public player from another device.
  • Confirm the show schedule and timezone.
  • Keep a backup local media source ready when practical.
  • Do not change stream credentials during a live event unless there is a security problem.
